Nikon DX-format professional-level performance with agility and creative versatility. The D300S brings HD movie capability, a faster frame advance rate of 7fps and dual CF and SD memory card slots to offer new opportunities to explore creative imaging. Built upon the widely acclaimed D300, the D300S incorporates the same DX-format 12.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, professional 51-point autofocus system and commended EXPEED image processing in a discrete compact body.
The D300S comprehensively extends DSLR HD movie capture by adding external stereo sound input, autofocus capability and premieres in-camera movie editing. External stereo microphone support adds more realistic sound to shooting movie clips, and a new dedicated LV button makes switching between stills and movies easier than ever. DSLR-A230
Very light, compact, easy-to-use Digital Single Lens Reflex (D-SLR) camera - body only. 10.2 megapixels, SteadyShot INSIDE, HD output, 2.7" LCD and on-screen help guide.
DSLR quality that's fun for everyone
It's never been easier to capture great-looking images. Extremely compact, light and so simple to use - a perfect introduction to the world of digital SLR photography. Say no to camera shake
Keep things crisp and even. SteadyShot INSIDE reduces camera shake when you’re shooting handheld. It’s great for atmospheric, low-light scenes without flash as well as high-zoom shots when you haven’t got a tripod handy. And it works with all your α lens collection, too. |

The Nikon D3x update to the company's professional-level D3 introduced in 2007. This new full-frame, 24.5-megapixel camera. The D3x is designed for studio use. While the D3x more than doubles the megapixel count of the D3, it does so at the cost of dropping the maximum frame rate from nine frames per second to five. In our lab testing, the D3x performed very well, but in general scored slightly lower than Nikon's other full-frame offering, the D700. One area it excelled in was resolution, demonstrating remarkable sharpness. The great advantage of the D3x over most other cameras is its broad array of customizable features and manual controls.

Olypus E-620 SRP Inc VAT: £ 599.99 The world’s smallest and lightest D-SLR with Built-in Image Stabilisation and a portable creative studio! The new Olympus E-620 combines the technical sophistication required by pros with easy-to-use functions desired by hobbyists. As a result, ambitious photographers everywhere can now take creativity to a whole new level.
Olympus has established a tradition of offering very well specified cameras in the entry-level, and was one of the first to offer two cameras in this bracket - the little E-410 and its image-stabilized big brother, the E-510 (later upgraded to the 420 and 520 respectively). Now it has introduced the E-620, a model that will 'sell alongside' the E-420 and E-520 (in the sense that we suspect it will eventually replace the E-520) as the company's attempt at a '450D-killer'. |
